Every writer starts with a single idea.
A spark.
For me, that spark became War for the Hybrid.
At the time, I didn’t realize how much that story would shape the way I write. I only knew that the world felt alive — dangerous, emotional, layered with conflict and power. Livi’s story pushed me to explore themes of identity, strength, and what it means to survive when the world around you refuses to understand who you are.
Writing that series taught me something important.
Stories are never just about plot.
They’re about transformation.
The characters grow.
The world evolves.
And somewhere along the way, the writer grows too.
After spending so much time inside the world of War for the Hybrid, I found myself drawn toward a different kind of story — one that explored balance, power, and the thin line between control and chaos.
That idea became Broken Balance.
Where War for the Hybrid was about discovering power, Broken Balance asks a different question:
What happens when power shifts the world itself?
Every story I write pulls me deeper into the craft. Each book demands new emotional layers, new challenges, and new ways of seeing the characters that inhabit these worlds.
Sometimes the most surprising part of writing isn’t finishing the book.
It’s realizing how much the journey changed you.
When I look at the stories I’ve written so far, I don’t just see series and characters.
I see chapters of my growth as a storyteller.
The worlds of War for the Hybrid and Broken Balance may be different, but they share something important — they explore the moments where everything changes.
The moments where a character realizes they are stronger than they believed.
Those are the stories I’m always chasing.
And if you’ve stepped into these worlds with me already, I’m grateful you’re here.
And if you’re just discovering them…
Your journey into these worlds is just beginning.
